VFD Transmission
The VFD transmission is designed to deliver a blend of durability, scale appearance, and optimized weight distribution. By placing the motor low and forward, the drivetrain improves climbing stability and steering response, while the factory 6.5% overdrive enhances turning precision without stressing electronics. Internally, the VFD uses hardened chromoly shafts, sintered gears, and modular bearing plates that allow for optional gear ratio tuning inside the transfer case. A slipper eliminator maximizes power transfer, and the molded extended skid plate protects the motor during rough, technical driving.
F10 Straight Axles & Suspension
The molded F10 straight axles draw from Vanquish’s extensive axle design experience, offering a rigid structure with an integrated truss and oversized C-hubs for long-term durability. High-pinion hypoid gears, universal-style axle shafts, and 49° of steering provide smooth, predictable handling on uneven terrain. Paired with Incision 90mm S8E Shocks featuring dual O-ring seals and polished shafts, the suspension delivers controlled articulation and consistent damping. The adjustable lower shock mounts and 3-link front suspension with panhard bar further enhance tuning capability while maintaining scale realism.
Chassis & Trail-Ready Construction
The VS4-10 chassis uses heavy-duty steel C-channel frame rails for strength and scale authenticity, reinforced by molded crossmembers in high-stress areas. Integrated mounting positions for electronics, dual servo options, and clean winch line routing make the platform adaptable for advanced builds. Molded rock sliders with replaceable outer sections protect the body, while the machined aluminum panhard mount ensures precise suspension geometry under load. The molded inner fenders double as adjustable shock towers, securely capturing the tops of the ninety-millimeter shocks for consistent performance on rugged trails.
